Poteau High School is proud to welcome Ms. Sydni Benge to the Pirate crew! Ms. Benge, inspired by her family of educators, is in her sixth year of teaching and has found her true passion teaching special education, a field that has helped her to connect more deeply with others and herself. ¨I like the reward of seeing my kids grow,¨ said Benge. Ms. Benge attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Outside of school, she spends her time keeping up with her two children, going fishing, and bowling.
