What is a lifelong friendship? A lifelong friendship is a friendship that you think will last a lifetime. It’s where you connect with someone and have a good bond. A lifelong friendship doesn’t have to be with someone that you talk to every day, just someone you have a connection with and they understand you and you understand them. In a lifelong friendship, you and the other person or people have to also agree that you are also their lifelong friend. Qualities to look for in a lifelong friend is trust, honesty, loyalty, support, love, respect, encouragement, and many more. A lifelong friend should have some common interests as you. They should also be always be there as your emotional support. They shouldn’t have to change or be a different person around you. Not only that, but they need to be themselves and so do you.
Kaydi, Kelby, and Kylie have been friends since the 1st grade. They met in Mrs. Armstrong’s math class. All of them became inseparable. The teachers had to always separate them because of how crazy they acted all together. “We have always stuck close together.”
They met Brooklie along the way in 5th grade. They all met her in Mrs. Perkin music class. Furthermore, they loved to play the wolf game she had created. “Mrs. Perkin wasn’t very fond of us by the end of the year.”
“We got in trouble a lot, but it gave us a friend of a lifetime.” They have always been there for each other and have some disagreements here and there, but they work everything out. “We all have our downs with each other, but we literally only have each other.”
They got the name “The Gang” from Kaydi’s house. They always hang out when they have the chance. Not only that, but they are the group that’s always together.
