Most girls dream of becoming a model. Many of us spent our days watching icons like Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Gisele Bundchen strut the Victoria’s Secret runway flaunting their breathtaking wings and divine costumes. We all wanted to walk with our favorites, until they left. Watching their VS careers end was heart wrenching, but now they’re back for one last show!
After a performance from Blackpink’s Lisa, Gigi Hadid opens the show with the Modern Heritage collection, wearing a beautiful set of wings. Her hair and makeup done to perfection, she leads several models down the catwalk, one being Taylor Hill. Hill shows off a sparkly bra along with a set of bow wings, matching with Paloma Elsesser. As a closer to the first collection, Adriana Lima makes a historic return, clothed in a unique new set.
Following Tyla’s performance, Candice Swanepoel opens for the Twinkle collection, followed by stunners such as Lila Moss, Alex Cosani, and Barbara Palvin. With this collection being a little more simple, it contained some pretty cute garments, like the set worn by Jasmine Tookes. Vittoria Ceretti closed this collection displaying a large set of blue feathered wings.
Next, Kate Moss opens for the Heroes collection, strutting in a black lace cover up. Accompanying Moss, each model rocked some form of black clothes. The concept of a more alternative line is out of character for VS, so this is quite the move.
Atelier is another alternative style collection being showcased during another performance by Lisa. Three plus sized models open this segment. Ashley Graham and her fellow models show off a variety of black pieces with florals incorporated. Alessandra Ambrosio walked this set, wearing a black bodysuit with stunning golden wings. Carli Bruni closed Atelier with a beautiful floral black cover up.
With a performance from Cher, Unwrap The Magic strays away from predominantly black clothing and heads for red! Vittoria Coretti is back and opening for this collection, followed by many familiar faces such as Elizabeth Grace & Bella Hadid. Bella closed the collection in a voluminous fur coat alongside Cher and her dancers. Just when we thought it was over, Tyra Banks is lifted up to the runway where she closes out the entire show with all of the models behind her.
If I was in charge of this show, I definitely would’ve made some minor changes, such as who wears which outfits and the style of some people’s hair, but overall I liked it. I like how they brought in retired models to walk alongside newer ones. I think it gave the show a good mix. I loved being able to watch one last Victoria’s Secret show and I am very excited to see where most of these models advance in their careers.
