Hello Students of Poteau High School. As you know there has been an influx in foreign exchange students around the school. Exchange students are an important part of the high school experience, I mean almost every piece of media about high school has the dynamic new kid. Since we have had this higher number of foreign exchange students, I decided it would be pertinent to interview someone about their experience, about the differentiating lifestyles. Enter Fabian Grammel, a German foreign exchange student. Fabian is currently a Junior, who had some advice to give his fellow exchange students and lowerclassmen. “ I would tell them to say yes to anything, and for them to just be open to anything.” Fabian believes that you should always take risks because you never know what might happen. You might find your calling in something you would never expect to be for you. So get out of your comfort zone, be brave and try new adventures. This doesn’t just apply to your school life, take this skill and apply it elsewhere. So as always, stay positive! Go Pirates!
